Once upon a time, the world was perfect and unchanging – an impossible balance maintained by the hardwork of three goddesses. Mae, the goddess of Life, was tasked to maintain a world ever youthful. This was a difficult and tedious job assigned to her by her all-controlling older sister Ida, the goddess of Space.
One day, Mae’s curiosity took over her. Enchanted by the beauty of the real world, she reached out into it. A forbidden act for any divine being. Unknown to her, she leaked a tiny firefly into the divine world. Curiously, it flew until the creature found Tee, the baby goddess of Time. Together, they played. But, each step Tee made aged the firefly. Tee did not understand what was happening until it was too late. The little creature died in Tee’s arms. Mortified, Tee stopped where she was. Crying.
